The Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of JOHN A. SIMPSON was held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2000 in the Max Palevsky Cinema of Ida Noyes Hall (1212 East 59th Street).
A Reception followed at The Quadrangle Club (1155 East 57th Street).


In lieu of flowers or other memorials, the family plans to establish a lectureship in John's name. Checks should be made out to The University of Chicago and sent to the John A. Simpson Memorial Fund, c/o The Enrico Fermi Institute, 5640 S. Ellis Ave., Chicago, IL 60637.
